During the holidays in April and May, 2025, the schedule of our museum and its branches will change in the following way:
THE YASNAYA POLYANA ESTATE
On April 30, and May 8, 2026 guided tours are offered from 9:30 to 14:30.
On May 1, 2, 3, 10 and 11, guided tours are offered from 10:30 to 16:30.
On May 5, 6, and 7, our museum works as usual, from 9:00 to 17:00. Guided tours are offered from 9:30 to 15:30.
On these days, you can walk around the estate, with our audio guide. You can also visit the exhibition “What is Art?” at the Kuzminsky House and the exhibition “Leo Tolstoy. Master and Man” at the Threshing Barn. At the Volkonsky House you can visit the exhibition “Leskov – A Writer of the Future” from the collection of the Oryol United State Literary Museum of I. S. Turgenev.The stables and the greenhouse will be open on these days.
On May 4, and May 9, the territory, the Tolstoy House and the Kuzminsky House will be closed for visitors, no guided tours will be offered.
From April 21, you cannot visit the Tolstoy House on your own, without a guide.
From April 25, the museum switches to summer working time on weekends and holidays. Admission to the estate grounds will be from 09:00 to 18:00. Admission tickets (100 rubles) can be purchased at the museum’s ticket office (with cash and card), and at the ticket terminals at the museum entrance (with card only).
Please note that on weekends and holidays, when we have more visitors than on weekdays, we may stop selling tickets for guided tours earlier than usual.
