On November, 1-4, Yasnaya Polyana museum-estate is open from 9:00 to 17:00. Admission to the estate grounds will be from to 16:00. Guided tours are offered from 9:30 to 15:30.

Please note that on weekends and holidays, when we have more visitors than on weekdays, we may stop selling tickets for guided tours earlier than usual.

You can visit the exhibition “What is Art?” in the Kuzminsky House on your own. It is dedicated to the beginning of Tolstoy’s creative activity. There are authentic thing of the Tolstoy family and objects of the 19th century on display.
Please note that Leo Tolstoy House will be closed from 5 to 14 November, 2025.

Kozlova Zaseka Railway Station
At the railway station closest to Yasnaya Polyana, you can visit the historic station building, related to the travels of the Tolstoy family and their guests, and see the exhibition Leo Tolstoy’s Railway.

November 1-4: from 9:30 to 16:30, the last guided tour starts at 15:30.
November 5: closed.
 
L. N. T. CENTER IN TULA
In Tula’s Museum Quarter, at the L. N. T. Cultural and Exhibition Center, one can see the interactive exhibition My Address is Always: Tula and the exhibition “Trial by Siberia”.

The schedule:
November 1–3: from 11:00 to 19:00;
November 4: from 10:00 to 18:00.

Shchekino (Yasenki) Station
The attraction of the historical and cultural complex at the Shchekino (Yasenki) railway station is the stylized platform of the Yasenki station (the station had that name until 1903), with a ticket office and a passenger car of the late 19th-early 20th century. In the car, one can see what travel conditions were like in the cars of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd classes and watch reels about Leo Tolstoy at the station.

The Museum of Zemstvo and Town-planning in Krapivna
In the old town and former district center, visitors can get acquainted with its sights during a general and thematic guided tour. The museum’s exhibition tells about the history of town-planning and social life in Russia in the 19th century, including the experience of local self-government after the Zemstvo reform in 1864. The museum also offers workshops.

The Maloye Pirogovo Estate
At the estate, visitors are offered a guided tour of the estate and the manor house, whose owner was Leo Tolstoy’s younger sister Maria, and later the author’s daughter Maria.

The Nikolskoye-Vyazemskoye Estate
The estate that used to belong to Leo Tolstoy’s paternal ancestors is also ready to welcome visitors during the February holidays. The manor house accommodates an exhibition related to the history of the Tolstoy family in the context of Russia’s history. The estate can be seen during the tour "Nikolskoye-Vyazemskoye—the Tolstoy Family Estate".
